Morning boys.  We have 11 here at the moment.  That sucks JB.  What a pain.  I hope you can still access the lake this winter.  Got my landfill trip done yesterday.  Was a nice day for it.  I then go down the Min Maint road a ways and let the dogs out to do their thing.  They love it.  SO I did make my north of Hwy 11 famous spaghetti last night and it was great!  I was going to sprinkle some Cajun seasoning  on it but then took another look at the bottle.  I have had it for as long as I can remember.  It is so old that it doesn't even have a use by date on it.  I also saw a sticker 2 for $1 on it.  LOL   Decided not to use it.  If anyone wants it I will send it to you.  No big plans for the day.  Will do recycling so that will get us out and moving around.  So Bucko is loving that Senior Sweet Feed that the attractive neighbor lady gave me.  She said it got her horses too wound up.  I only give him a Campbells soup can full a day.  If it is cold and I grain him twice I split it in half.  Now he comes running with his head up and talking to me.  He is about 22 or 23 years old so I just want him to be happy and healthy.  I sold my horse trailer and the round pen.  He won't be leaving here in a horse trailer.  He is a little stiff on his front right shoulder at times but other than that he is an easy keeper and looks good.  He had some bird crap on him the other day.  I see a bird sit on him now and then.  Well TGIF and you all have a good day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 25 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper 20's. .4" of snow at the ranch, melting out to .04" of liquid equivalent precip, with .3" in Bugtussle, melting out to .03" here in Bugtussle. Wife is driving me nuts. She thought I just oughta come home this afternoon & put the forks on the skidsteer so I could clean barn tomorrow. Laid that one on me just before just as I was heading out the door this a.m. I told her with the cornstalk bales coming sometime tomorrow, I need the bucket on the skidsteer to move the wagon in place and haul the bales into the shed so I can stack them. Changing back & forth between the bucket & forks is a royal PITA on this older skidsteer. On & off, dicking around to line it up so the 2 pins go into place properly. Then it needs to be greased, the chit spreader needs to be greased, the bale spear needs to come off the 3 pt. on the tractor, the the tractor should be filled with gas & hooked onto the spreader. Then a gravity box full of corn needs to be moved to access the manure pack from the west side. The sloping dooryard is tight enough with all the round bales so I don't need more equipment out in the way. Be lotsa goddamn fairies working OT at my place over the weekend between chores I tell ya. Makes me tired & pissed off just thinking about it.

Mornin all, we have 20 now & we should top out around 33. We've got a little overnight snow in the forecast too. It started lightly spittin a little snow yday when I came home from the Y about 10:00 & it kept that up pretty much all day. Then it turned more to flurries about 4:30-5, still not enough to even tint the grass though. Yeah, sad to hear the bad news, glenn. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Morning boys. 8 here and heading for 17 today. Chance of some snow too. Sorry to hear about the fellers you knew Glenn. Yo are right. Makes a guy wonder. Enjoy each day that we are top side, because we know when our number is up. Well, the wood stove is fed and the coffee is made. Enjoying a little coffee now with Chis Chis Mexican mudslide. Makes a great creamer. Plan for today is load the woodshed and then start tackling the ramp issue. See what I can accomplish there. Have a good one boys.

Morning boys.  Glenn that is a lot of bad news.  Hang in there.  SO that brings me to this:  Should a guy quit the fun stuff like drinking and eating a lot of meat and sweets or just say the heck with it and go with a smile on my face?  I haven't made any big changes yet and don't know if I will.  Looks like we have 10 degrees with a little south wind.  Should see 19 before the day is done.  Not sure what the wife has in store for me yet.  Just having my coffee with Bob helping me talk to you.  She likes to sit in my lap when I am typing.  Man we have 20% humidity in our house.  That is really dry.  We are wondering what to do about it.  Do you guys have humidifiers in your houses?  We are shopping them wondering what to get if any. Well football later on.  You all have a good day and stay out of trouble.

No humidifier here. It does get really dry though. But just as soon not have all the moisture on the wood of the windows. As far as giving up stuff that I enjoy. Na, I choose to die doing the things I enjoy. I do eat fairly healthy too. I try and stay away from the processed foods a high fructose corn syrup. Pop is about the only place I get that and I only have 3 or 4 of those a week.

Ya I knew that was the best way to do it Mike.  I will investigate it. Just buying one and turning it on would be easier though.   :sleazy:

humidifier in the heating system
for a while i ran a DEhumidifer in mt house during the winter. havent for quite some time now. i hate getting zapped by low humidity. i dont have a furnace, i got baseboard electric heat and really dont have humidity issues in the house.

LPS's eating right made me giggle.....over on IDO there's quite the thread about pharms and eating right, kinda funny. then on HSO  in sillytown there's one totally goofy doofus babling all the time about fasting and drugs and eating right. more humor then anything to me.

i try and eat healthy for the most part. i do eat alot of fruits and veggies i switched away from white bread to anything but. now i dont like white bread. .......but i got this issue with sweets.....liked bakery goodies.    i have to try and behave myself asi have bloodwork done twice a year......

I eat pretty good too.  I do like some ice cream now and then.  We have bought some frozen quick bake things for when we are busy but other than that we make our own. We eat bakery rye bread.

I got most of the rotten skin trimmed off the back door of the trailer, frame painted and two of four trim pieces fitted. Need to finish the last two trims and replace the seals on the door. My goal is to have to as water tight as possible. After that it's going to get a SxS and JD mower in it and parked outside. I guess I have about 20' of cupboards and cabinets coming on Tuesday and my brother needs someplace to store them other than at his place. Told me there were coming in the Spring. There are some down-falls to having a garage/shop. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:
