Morning boys.  We have 8 here at the moment.  The high will be 10 so almost there.  We have a couple 2 or 3" of snow on the ground.  Looks pretty fluffy.  I will try to blow that off the deck again.  Our ribs turned out great again.  Amazing what a new grill will do.  No big plans for the day other than watch some football.  Don't overdo it today and have fun.

Morning boys. 7 here and just going to keep going down from there. Looks like -11 tonight. The wood stove was hungry this morning. Ate up the wood early this morning. Cut a bunch of wood yesterday and loaded the shed up good. I went yesterday afternoon and started playing with the cement at the end of the ramp. Bigger mess than I thought. Thinking it may have to wait until it gets warmer out and hope the lake doesn't come up to fast this spring. Thought about fishing today, but still playing with the alien. So decided to just relax for awhile. About it here. Have a good one boys.

I just got done plowing too.  We had a few inches of nuisance snows on the ground plus the more like 3"that we got last night.  The wife used the new EGO little blower again.  Works great on the deck.  Football time here too.  We are behind a couple of Landman episodes too so looking forward to that too.  Great show. Afternoon fellow gulag comrades! Was 23 at choretime & has been heading downwards since. Presently 17. Off & on flurries so far. Breezy too w/gusts up to 30 mph. Got 7 loads of manure hauled yesterday. Paying for it today. A lot of off & on tractor skidsteer. The field was super rough too. Could've hauled some today but thought I was getting cornstalks. Guy hurt his back so won't get those until tomorrow. Have a few squash I could freeze yet but have Corgi sleeping on my leg. Bummer glenn. When it rains it pours sometimes.

One of the common denominators for us are now "he hurt his back".  Hope he isn't too bad.   OK here is a question.  On my PC the site is just like normal.  After our local cable issues that are all fixed I think my site look changed.  May have had nothing to do with it.  So now as I am typing on my lap top I don't have the icons above me.  just the subject line and the next line is message icon.  Then a scroll down menu with faces.  ?????

Teals party is over for me. Meal was ok, not near as good as last 2 years. This year they had a breaded chicken breast with a white  sauce.

But my employee of the year award!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: not really. Built like a yetti. Heavy as hell.

I put the JD mower and SxS in the trailer and it's parked outside now. Floor cleaned up and ready for cupboards. Oldest stopped by and grabbed the 1/2 ton until Wednesday. His F350 is getting a new U-joint put on the front. So I have an axle and wheels for sale now, pictures coming. Also that shelving unit and a self from the front. Cheap. Can't bring myself to burn them, but I'm not going to look at them collect dust for very long either. Later......  :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! -3 at choretime heading for a high around 10 above. At least the wind went down some after midnite. Wind chills were down to -18 last nite. Cocoa and tincture warmed me up pretty good after I got in from chores. Since the cornstalks got put on hold yesterday, I froze what's likely to be the last of the squash for the season. Still have a bunch from the '23 growing season in the freezer. That stuff keeps really good & it was probably better flavored than the '24 crop. I can always mail some to glenn. :coffee: Hopefully with the warmer Wed. thru Friday forecast will allow me to finish more barn cleaning. Would be nice to haul it if the pack doesn't get too frozen but if it does, I can pile it outside then haul it when it works. I could mail some of that to glenn too.

By the way, I did order a new humidifier.  They are round and tall now with a hose to direct the vapor evidently.  Had great reviews and you can put scents in for aromatherapy.   :sleazy:  Till it arrives I will keep up with my pot pouri program. I just cut up some old oranges into big chunks and will simmer them today.  Kind of nice really.  About time to go out and do the chores.  Takes me about 10 minutes Dotch.   :sleazy:

I wish it took me 10 minutes. Right now it's about a half hour of near constant motion 2x per day. The only time I stand still is when I fill the water buckets. I liked it better back when we had Muffin, Cupcake & Clover. Once we added Twinkie & Ho-Ho, it was all downhill from there.  :pouty:

Yeah, LPS, we use one called Ocean Breeze. Not overpowering, but sort of keeps a fresh scent in the air. We also use water conditioner that helps keep the wicks from stiffening and losing absorbency.

morning fellers......... got done at the store by 9;30. probably the smallest truckload since i started there. was told upstairs as we call it.........more commonly known as management is grumbling there's to much inventory. so the people who order are trying to cut back. doesnt help when the summer crowd isnt around.

its friggin cold outside........thinkin a good day to stay inside.....besides i need a nap for the Vikes game tonight!!!!  :happy1: :happy1:

That sounds like a good scent.  I will get some.  Thanks.
