Morning boys. 8 above here and heading for 31 today. It was 6 above when I got out of bed at 4:30. Already climbing.  I went out and swapped the 100 lbs tanks on my fish house. Going to go to Roseau after work and get tanks filled. I have 2. 100 lbs tanks and a 20 lbs. Roseau is way cheaper than Warroad for filling tanks. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Think I'll try to finish up that axel today. I did get the 2 1/2" holes drilled out in the 2x4 tubing last night, now I have to plasma cut out the slots in them to go over the axel. After that drill the mounting holes (8) in the 1/2" plates for the bolts and weld them together. Once that is done these mounts should fit a 60" wide trailer frame. Length can be what-ever to who buys it has in mind. It was 5'x10' when I bought it. I'll put up pictures and it will be for sale. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  We have about 10 here and should see the 30's today.  That will feel great as we are getting closer to spring.  LOL  Finished a great book yesterday so will begin another one today.  I showed you that little excavator that I am thinking about.  There are lots of videos that I have been checking out.  This one is $4,800 new.  I would like a spike for ripping tree roots on it too.  They have a few attachments for them too.  We have a lot of stumps that are a nuisance so that would be the main job at first anyways.  You all have a great and warm day.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 1 above at choretime heading for a high in the mid-20's. It's 14 presently and the wind chill is 0 so there is that. Unloaded & stacked the cornstalks yesterday afternoon then took the wagon back to the guy before sunset. This a.m., got my coffee, granola bars, Albert's Leaf paper, & Strategic Farmer webinar in so on with the rest of the day. Looks like we get a warmup for 3 days. Should unhook the tractor from the spreader, put the bale spear on & plop a round bale in each lot so the yearlings & brood ewes can grind away on those. Mebbe Friday I can find some help to move the handling system & I can finish cleaning the main barn before the temperatures lower the boom again. The pack tends to come out in hard frozen sheets. It's like running concrete slabs thru the spreader & nothing good'll come from that.  :embarrassed:

Morning boys. 29 here and supposed to make 30 it says. I was able to get 1 of my 100 lbs tanks filled. The other leaks when he opens the valve. This was the 2nd time I tried to have that tank filled again. I leaked tested the tank here at home a couple weeks ago. I hooked the hose from my buddy heater to it. Nothing. Even used soapy water. I had the heater running for 20 minutes and never a bubble. Think it is a combination of their attachment and the tank. I hate to bring it to Warroad and have them try. To expensive there. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys. Have a good one boys.

They didn't have my new crown yet & they don't get their mail 'til 9 or 10. No big deal here, I'm just glad they called. Tracking says it should be there. 'Bout it here, have a great day.

Morning boys.  We have 27 and like JB said will remain around 30 even overnight.  37 tomorrow.  Then cold over the weekend. I am off this morning to get my new toy.  Hoping it will start in this weather when I get home.  I have to take the roll cage off to get it in the garage.  Hope that isn't too big of a job.  Otherwise I will have to wait till spring or the next warm days.  Will figure it out.  So you all have a good day too.

I thinks I'm going to get some pictures and post some stuff for sale today. I have no use for this stuff, it takes up room and I can't bring myself to toss it. I'll try to get it on here, I think there's a "for sale" thread somewhere and it will be at a greatly reduced price. Otherwise it will be on Craigslist and Facebook market place. too. I just signed up for FB because of their marketplace. Could get spendy, lottsa good things on there. Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 24 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-terdies. A little breeze so far but nothing too bad yet. Fueled up the tractor & got one bale in the lot last nite after discovering more hay in the bottom of one of the feeders than it appeared. Pitchforked that into mangers inside so it wouldn't go to waste. Figured I'd get the yearlings working on the bale 1st for a few days so I can peel sheets off for inside when it gets cold. Dealing with the wife's confuser crisis after a bit. Rather than take it to my guy who's been working on our stuff, she took it to a guy in Albert Lea. He did OK on the hardware issue but he didn't know how we had our Microsoft Office 365 synced up so it doesn't work as it should. My guy is coming in about 10 so need to get that done as well as payroll. Get that all done it'll be time to run home, feed bottle lambs, let Poppy out and have lunch. Yup markn, the only thing I'm on Facebook for is Marketplace. Between that & CL, can find way more stuff than I need. Good to see ya posting Scenic! Keep us in the loop fer sure.  :happy1:
