Odd thought just crossed my mind.  Anyone ever smoked a prime rib?   :scratch:

Been a while Roony but the ones we did,  the oven at first was cranked as high as it got for so long, drop it back to around to 350 then shut it off to finish.  They turned out pretty good. A good thermometer will do you well.

I've smoked a few and they are awesome!!!  dry rub it and smoke away!! 

in fact I have one in the freezer that will done that way!! 
a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!

You just stick to harpooned fish... :smoking:

Our family has always put it in and jack it up to 500 and then down but not sure where thing.  The most important thing is to not open the oven through the whole process.  AND Roony you are the man!  That is prefect.
