Afternoon peoples 22 here. I've been battling the crud most of the week, sucks working outside.  In bed last night at 8 up at 6, and decided a nap was needed at 10 this morning.  Feel lot better,  the sky opened up and we managed 2" of snow this morning, the little snow chucker got the nod. Probably continue where I left off, grab some couch and continue Hell on wheels.....See ya!!

Afternoon fellow gulag comrades! -7 for an overnite low, -6 at choretime heading for a high in the low 20's. Made it to 9 above so far so we shall see. Storm total on the snowfall yesterday was 2.3" at the ranch, melting out to a total of .19" worth of liquid equivalent precip. We've more than quintupled our precip & liquid precip totals from January. Of course, it didn't take much here in the Gobi Desert. A couple more ewes lambed since yesterday's episode so we're within one ewe's worth of being half done lambing. It'll be a real PITA at shearing time but so be it. Got the garden gnome lined up to catch so that'll be a plus. Well, better get the bottle lamb fed & see what else has gone awry. 4-H kid is coming over later this afternoon. Toodles!

Morning boys. -3 here and heading for a high of 3 above it says. What a whooping the chefs took. I finally shut the game off halfway thru the 3rd and watched a couple hell on wheels. Just started the 4th season. A cold week ahead the way it looks. Otherwise just getting ready for another day in the salt mines. Have a good one boys.

Good morning All.  Yes it is a bit chilly this morning.  -1 with a real feel of -14 already.  JB that is a real good series.  I started the Wyatt Earp documentary on Netflix.  Lot of untold stuff in that one.   Have a great day!!

Funeral today at 11:00. Bummer. After that headed a little North to look at a new toy. More to come on that. So I got a closer look at the motor from the Harley golf cart and this is what I found. So the next question is "keep it or junk it?". It appears this keyway has been "fixed" before and I'm not sure its worth the time and money to go any farther. Also the pulley has been rubbing on the case of the motor. A new-used motor is $600.00 (plus shipping) and crankshaft is $200.00. Believe it or not you can still find parts for this old thing. Thoughts ladies and gents? Later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! -3 for the overnite low, -2 at choretime, heading for a high in the mid-teens.  Chores done, made it to the office in the BWH after stopping at DG to reload the coffee supply. Milkhouse heater is cranked up under the desk so my tootsies are thawing out. No more newbies overnite. Hope most of them can hold off until after the weekend. This cold weather makes lambing even more miserable than usual. We moved one pen with a ewe & lamb yesterday and that's all the empty, readily available space we have set up currently. We can usually shoehorn a few more pens in but it doesn't take long before we're climbing over pens to get to pens. That sucks.

I dunno what I'd do markn. If it was something I was using routinely like a skidsteer or tractor, it'd be a no-brainer. They're no good to anyone unless they're functional. That's why I have as much old junk as I do! Something useful that I could fix & flip in retirement?  Possibly. A toy that would sit? Prolly sell on Marketplace or CL to get it out of the way. Could also park it in roony's grove some night!  :happy1:

Morning boys.  Finally got our internet up and running again.  Not sure what the problem was but is good now.  We have about 3 here.  Gonna be -20's at night and single digits for highs all week.  So survival weather till them.  Not gonna do much till next week.  Although if it is not windy it feels nice out with the sun helping more.  Mark I bought one of those Harleys long ago and cleaned it up thinking I could make some money on it.  Turned out I was glad to sell it for what I paid for it.  I didn't have to put any money into it though, just elbow grease.  I thought it was cool as heck.  Can you make money selling it after the new parts?  Should be collectors value to someone I would think. Got the fire going and Bucko fed so back to my book about a Mafia hit man.  The Sopranos was from this I believe.  What a cold hearted person.  Almost didn't keep reading after how his father beat them and his wife so often.  I thought it was a great game yesterday.  Just enjoyed the Eagles kicking KC's ass.  Stay warm.

I have the Packers and Eagles in the same camp. I hate them both so I always am cheering for the team playing them. I actually even cheer for the Pack when they play the eagles.

Morning boys. We are right where you are at temp wise.  Gonna be a run outside and get things done quick and back inside and read my book.  It's called Ice Man.  The hit man that helped with Hoffa and Gotti plus may many more.  He said they put Hoffa in a barrel and poured some gas in and let it burn for a half hour then welded the top shut.  When  people started looking for him they put the barrel in the trunk of a car and crushed it and put it on a ship of scrap headed to Japan.  SO no matter how bad your day is you are better off than Hoffa.  One day closer to warm weather.  We can do it.   :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin guys, we had -17 @ 6 when I looked but TWC's site now says it's -25 here. It looks like we might get to the + side as I'm seeing 2 for the high. Sure was bright out early with the clear skies & the full moon. As usual we're headed to town tomorrow & it's looking like we need to stop in Cohasset to get rid of the recyclables. So, getting those together today is about the only thing on my list...............so far. No more now, stay warm & have a good day.

Not looking forward to it but I need to go to town to discuss bingo details with the manager at the VFW and then head over and get the raffle tickets made for it. May look at trying to get the doors to seal up better on the garage too. My 500 gallon tank that was just filled is taking a butt whooping. I drove up to Eagle Bend yesterday and drop off a partial payment on my newest toy which be here on Friday. Can't wait. It's a Cat 262B skid loader. I have been looking for over two years and finally decided on this one. Two speed drive, heat/AC, quick attach, 2471 hours and comes with a bucket not the plow shown in the picture. So there's a Kubota BX 2370 with a bunch of attachments for sale now. Listed on FB. If interested get me a PM. Stay warm, later..... :happy1: :happy1:
