Morning boys. 32 here and dropping. It warmed up to 41 overnight and then started dropping. Going to continue to drop too. Windy as all get out too. Heard yesterday a couple of Alumalite fish houses got flipped over from the wind. Today is even windier I think. Wonder if more will be flipped over. I'm all ready to go fishing, but no new partners to pick from yet.  ;) :rotflmao: Otherwise just getting ready for a short day in the salt mines. Buddies coming up fishing this morning for the weekend. Have a good one boys.

Brush mower is gone. Got my trailer mover tacked together yesterday and going to finish it today unless something else pops up. Need to process some bingo letters and start on the prize list too. Later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  We have a very windy 24 right now.  The trees are really blowing in the wind.  Looks like a work around the house day today.  I may vacuum but not till after I trim the dogs toe nails.  That may wait till tomorrow.  We had fun moving some pretty big logs with the excavator yesterday.  It worked great!  Managed to get some firewood out of the pile too.  The rest is ready to burn when we have a nice weekend.  I started another good book last night so will probably finish that today.  Need to think of something fun to cook for supper.  ???  The wife is fussier than I am since she isn't feeling up to par so has to be kind of bland.  Or at least her portion.  LOL  Maybe hamburger steaks and fried yukons with onions.   :sleazy:  We shall see.  TGIF!!!

Good morning.  It is NASTY windy and like everyone has said the temps are falling.  It was 43 here at 0245 and 31 out now.  Going to spend at least part of the day in the shop.  Feels good to get over there even for a bit.  Pretty restricted in what I can do there but at least something.
Have a great day !!!

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 37 for a low, 39 at choretime, looking like it may have topped out at 46. W wind ~30 mph gusting to 41 presently. Some gusts expected up to 50 mph. Temps supposed to fall throughout the day. Have some banking stuff to do & a retirement party to go to later afternoon. Do chores then re-do the splint on the lamb's leg after that. Then get mentally prepared for shearing tomorrow. Nothing too exciting that's for sure.

We had terrible winds on Ottertail once.  Fish houses were all over the lake where they didn't start out at.  My brother had a behemoth of a homemade fish house.  It was heavy as heck.  It ended a mile from where it was set up.  There was no snow to stop them neither.

Just got back from town.  Sounds like you Mike.  Really blowing the truck around.  Our car wash is out of commission and bugs the heck out of me. 40 miles away is the closest one.

Got the trailer mover welded up. Looks OK. Might even work. Now it needs to be painted which is code for drinking beer and waiting for the paint to dry so you do another coat. Cheers. :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin gang, we have -1 & we're headed for 22. The wind must be going back to the south as Sunday 'til Tuesday have 40 & 50 for highs. The hourly says by ~ 6 tonight it'll be back WSW here. Might have to see if I can get at my old box spring that I use for a drag today. The brother said there was a bunch of junk laying in the driveway when he went to check the mail yday. 'Bout it here, have a good day.

Good luck with that Mike! I think after we move west of Glenn I might just swing by the big feed. As always mornin peoples sitting at 12, not much going on today probably a little grocery shopping and a haircut,  we talked about wondering around fleet farm also. Finished up Lioness the otter day and just might look into another series....See ya!!

Morning boys.  We have -3 now and was -5 a few minutes ago.  May get up to 31.  We have 46 coming in a few days.  Can't wait.  Not a lot on the list today.  Will trim dogs nails and then vacuum the whole house.  I need to grill something this weekend but not sure what.  Have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 12 at choretime heading for a high around terdy. Shearing day so getting amped up for that. Everything is about as ready as it can get. Had a Lotzza Motzza for glenn again this a.m. after a set of twins overnite. Keep an eye on yer mailbox! This was an especially sloppy one so the box could be kinda drippy...

Here's what this project looks like finished. Other trailer movers I have looked at were anywhere from $90.00 to $575.00. This one cost me $48.74 and it will probably stay on the forks because it  will be used more than the forks themselves. Here's the breakdown, $25.77 for the scrap tubing and 1/2x4 steel (I still have about 16" of tubing left), $3.99 for the hooks on the chain, chain was from previous employer as scrap, $8.99 for the 2" ball and $9.99 for the 2 5/16" ball. Fun to do and I need the welding practice. Now I can get back to my bingo stuff that is happening in three weeks, later..... :happy1: :happy1:
