Here's what this project looks like finished. Other trailer movers I have looked at were anywhere from $90.00 to $575.00. This one cost me $48.74 and it will probably stay on the forks because it  will be used more than the forks themselves. Here's the breakdown, $25.77 for the scrap tubing and 1/2x4 steel (I still have about 16" of tubing left), $3.99 for the hooks on the chain, chain was from previous employer as scrap, $8.99 for the 2" ball and $9.99 for the 2 5/16" ball. Fun to do and I need the welding practice. Now I can get back to my bingo stuff that is happening in three weeks, later..... :happy1: :happy1:
:happy1: nice work bud.....

hell.....i welded for 28 years.....and nowadays when the little i do, do.....i still need practice  :surrender: :doah: my eyesite aint what it used to be!! :pouty:

Going to finish up my bingo papers today so I'm ready for Tuesday night's meeting. I ordered a set hydraulic plugs from Amazon so I can fix a line on the skid loader. They should be here tomorrow. So it looks like not a lot going on here today. That's OK, it's Sunday. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Good morning All.  12 this morning with clear skies and no wind.  Looks like it is heading in the mid thirties today.   Not sure what I am going to attempt yet but need to do something.  Have a great day.

Nice looking project Mark.

Morning boys.  We are looking at 18 and may see 41 today.  48 tomorrow, I will believe that when I see it.  It all sounds great though.  Still all white here.  Went for a ride the other day and could see some dirt showing through in spots.  I was able to walk on top of the snow yesterday it was frozen so hard.  Was kind of nice.  Looks pretty calm at the moment.  No big plans here neither.  Will start a fire to dry things out in the garage.  Watched the Gophers squeak by yesterday.  Good win.  Have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 12 for a low, 16 at choretime, heading for a high in the low to mid-40's. Got shearing done in good form. Was a lot of moving animals around but no one was killed or maimed. Have a few to vax, tag & dock today, move one more pen & then change the splint on the garage lamb's leg. A robin was spotted this a.m. A nap could break out this afternoon. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations glenn. Only I have the real McCoy... :tut:

So the leg of lamb must be doing ok then.  I wondered.  I just mentioned to the wife that mayhaps I would purchase a lamb and then butcher it in 10 months.  She gave me a look that scared me.  I had to tell her to knock it off she was scaring me.  She said that was the whole idea.  We are not getting a lamb.    :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  Just got back from a walk to camp.  The snow is still hard as a rock here and I can walk anywhere I want to.  I need to walk more too.  Been slacking on the ex bike too.  Pretty good south wind here.  The smoke from the chimney is headed to Canada.  Took a nice NY Strip out of the freezer to grill later on.

You are pretty accurate.  LOL  Glenn and Gunner have met her.  Wonderful woman that I love.  We are a great combo.  Other than we can't have chickens or lambs or calves that are meant to be in the freezer.  At least I can have Bucko. SO since we are talking about it.  I need a couple of accessories for my EX so I am trying to be thrifty for awhile.
