Morning boys.  We have 11 and could see 40 today.  Hope so.  I am going to try to resist shoveling today.  Not good on the back.  I can hardly see the houses in Canada.  Foggy over there. The little birds are here feeding already.  I filled both of the feeders up yesterday.  No big plans today.  That sounds fine to me.  You all have a good one.

For the second time we had the Timberwolves game on last night whilst reading.  Kind of getting into them.  They went into overtime so I went to bed.  I see they lost 130-132.  I remember back in the late 60's early 70's my neighbors Dad liked watching BB.  We always hoped any team would get 100 points someday.  Then they finally started breaking 100.  Now way past that milestone.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 35 at choretime heading for a high in the mid-fitties. With weather moving in, a lot on the agenda today so hafta keep moving. Got a trailer full of hay last nite after chores that'll need to be unloaded sometime today. May be later day as I need to find time to go birthday shopping for the wife. Will move another 1st cutting bale into the ewe lot closer to the building so they can get at it weather permitting. Same with their wooden grain feeders. Then put the snowblower on. Not messing around this time. Been two years since I used it so will need to make sure everything works as it should. Supposed to be ~18 Thursday morning. May be able to use it in places so I don't peel so much sod. If nothing else it'll provide additional ballast. Pushing things uphill w/o chains can be a struggle otherwise. When it's thawed like it is they get full of mud. Rather avoid that if possible.

Been a lot of crud going around. Thought maybe we'd be over the hump soon. Been sneezing a lot lately. Can always blame that on feed and hay dust. I've been slacking on my quinine intake this week. Will have to double down on that soon!

Afternoon peoples, 40 & sunny here. I haven't been able to reach MNO since early yday but it appears no one else has had that issue. So apparently, we had an issue with our server, or maybe it was a Paul Bunyan problem. Whatever, back in service now. :happy1:

Been working good here Gunner.  Nice day today.  Must have been close to 40 or at least felt like it.  Went for a walkabout this afternoon.  Felt good and need to be walking further every day with it being nicer out.

Morning boys.  We have 16 and may get up to 33 just like JB up on the lake.  Tomorrow up near 50.  l don't have a lot going on today but am in a good book so will do some reading.  I need to vacuum out my truck one of these days too.  Used to like doing it but now it is just a chore that needs to get done.  Tried to pay the guy that changed my oil to do it but he wasn't interested.  I hope you southern guys don't get wailed on too hard.   Have a good one.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 34 at choretime with temps remaining steady until later afternoon. No precip yet. I must've appeased the weather gods yesterday after stopping at the meat market, getting the Mrs. some birthday presents, moving hay & feeders around, hooking up the snowblower, then unloading hay & stacking it. Can see it's purty dark off to the south so eventually we'll see some snow. Think I'll just stay put this forenoon anyway. There's a webinar I can listen to atho it looks like it's about drones, something that's been overplayed in many places. Time consuming toys. Can easily dump 1000's of $ into one only to have it crash or lose it in a field, becoming a worthless piece of techno garbage. Nothing beats daily boots on the ground. No one wants to be that ambitious anymore I guess...  :coffee:

I'll have to go to Wally World today to grab some tagboard to make posters for bingo, after that finish up putting stuff together for it and a couple of beers, later....... :happy1: :happy1:

Those drones they use for spraying fields look rather interesting to me. Good alternative when the fields are to muddy.

For certain things like wet fields, under power lines, small fields, etc., the spray drones have value. They'd better for 80 grand plus the licensing fees & current medical exam requirements

Yeah mike, with both cornea & cataract on both eyes we made a lot of trips to the Wolfe Clinic down in Marshalltown & Des Moines. Then they were so busy it was normally about 6 months out to get an appointment. So, I'll bet it was at least 2-2 1/2 years to get his eyes where they are now. Personally, I've had glasses since I was ~10 so going to the Optometrist doesn't bother me at all.
