Well it's off to the bone crusher this morning and trap shooting this afternoon. Lenny gets to go to the Dr. tomorrow. I went to Menardo's on Saturday and did some Father's Day shopping. Picked up a 60 gallon air compressor, breaker, plug-in, elect. cord and four rachet straps. 230 volt and only needs a 15 amp breaker. The local elect. inspector is in the picture making sure things are going well. Paid $854.00 out the door, after my 11% it came to $766.00. I thinks I'll like it and the 25 gallon can go to the BIL for a box of beer. Later.......

Very nice!  My old Campbell Hausfeld that I bought in the 80's just won't die. It is so loud that the dogs want to leave when I plug it in.  Trips the breaker now and then too.  I've been looking.  The next time in Menardos I will walk the wife by them.  Good idea.

I just read that the kid that got hit by the train also had previous convictions of:  3 speeding tickets, 1 fleeing police, 1 overloaded truck.  Now this.  He may not be the man to hire.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 25 at choretime, heading for a high in the upper terdies. Weather & particualrly temps can turn on a dime this time of year. Was 60 for a high yesterday. Got all the apple & pear tree pruning done from the ground that I could do yesterday. We went to the East Wind Chinese buffet at Owatonna in the early afternoon after I was done. It has improved each time we've been there since after COVID. New ownership as I understand and they're back to using regular plates & silverware as opposed to the disposable stuff. Am sure they probably had a bunch they needed to get rid of yet the last time we were there. Not as cheap as it once was, but still a bargain. The place was clean & food was fresh & excellent. Nice compressor markn! glenn will be trying to figure how to put one in his bag on their next sale. Ya Barry, that trucker will prolly need to find different work at least for a while. Like I said, not surprised. After loading rail cars & being around trains when working at the elevator, FAFO.

I still have to laugh when I think of this story. We had a ditzy bookkeeper who knew her stuff that way but that was about it. There was a trucking outfit hauling into the elevator owned by a guy named Traynor. They'd pulled their semi on the scale one day and someone called to ask if there was a Traynor truck on the scale. She said, "Just a minute, I'll go check". She came back and told the person, "It's a truck." We all about lost it.

At least on Amazon you can look at them all and compare what you want and how much it should cost.  I think you will enjoy it once you get used to it. Like the old Bell Telephone ads.  Let your fingers do the walking.

Mornin guys, we had 15 @ 1st peek & we're hoping to see 45. Sis needs some work done on their boat, so we agreed to take it into the shop in DR for her. There's a small chance of some rain &/or snow tomorrow so we're taking it in there today. Since we're doing that, we're going to go into GR for a few groceries too. Better run, have a good day.

Morning boys.  We have a beautiful sunny morning.  Should see 45 later on.  The river is flowing nicely with some ice chunks flowing down river this morning. That can mean that the river is rising so it is floating the shore ice so it breaks off.  Frost on the grass.  We are in a critical fire warning now with the snow disappearing.  The wife said so we can't have a fire then?  I said no that is for everyone else.  LOL  If we have a fire it will be in a pit so will be safe.  A nice rain would help get the frost out and get things greening up.  I need to run to town to get some vittles and mail some bills so the dogs will love that.  Have a good one.

Good for you Roony.  I took the wife out to eat at Hibbing the other day.  I asked if she wanted to go to Hardees or Pizza Ranch.  She chose Pizza Ranch.  LOL   Was pretty good.  Darn good chicken.  First time I have eaten at one and would do it again.  I see there is one in Bemidji now.  Good thoughts on the surgery too!

It is supposed to be an 8 hour surgery to remove a growth in her brain. Most likely it is benign but it still has to be removed. We are hopeful.

So far, but I haven't fire it up yet either. He'll hide under the SxS when that happens. I also see some new air tools in my future. We have a vet visit on tap for today, after that get that compressor wired and running. Made three vibration dampeners out of that old tire I took off the JD mower last night after trap shooting. They were $11.87 each at FF when I was there yesterday. More coffee, later.... :happy1: :happy1:

Good luck to the daughter/DIL rooney.
