Good morning.  24 here at the moment and we also have some serious fog.   Today is going to end up being a paperwork day here.  Pushed a bit hard the last few days  so going to take it a bit easy today.  I would rather sand and paint than to do paperwork but it needs to be done.

Have a great day.

Mornin gang, 26 here & we're on our way to 58. Not much for fog here either. It got pretty nice here yday so I took the plow off the wheeler yday afternoon. Hoping to get the wheels on our rollout dock changed today. The little doughnut spare type tire is what's on there now. We've got a couple of the hard plastic lift/dock wheels that the neighbor gave us that we'd like to get on there. I'm thinking some spindle fabrication will be required. No more now, have a great day.

Morning boys.  It is 29 and should see 61 by the end of the day.  Will believe it when I see it.  64 tomorrow.   :happy1: :happy1:  I will spend more time outside today.  Not sure what I will do but it will be fun.  LOL  Still some snow around here but not much.  I see we have some fog in the pasture.  Boats are flying down river this morning.  Someone thinks they know a hot spot.  The chili turned out great!  Have a good one.  TGIF.

The old compressor is getting picked up today and going to a new home. Appears there are a few extra cardboard boxes in the garage that should disappear too. Funny how that crap just accumulates over the Winter. Gave the dog his flea and tick pill this morning. He just looked at it and licked it a bit. About that time the cat came walking by and I told him the cat was going to eat it. Gone, good boy. Later...... :happy1: :happy1:

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 38 at choretime, heading for a high in the mid-fitties. Some lite rain starting ~5 p.m. that diddled around off and on overnite enough to get the sidewalk wet. Not measurable at the ranch or Bugtussle. 41 right now with 87% humidity so it doesn't feel that warm. On the slate today, a feed run & hopefully tree pruning at my friend/customer's place. Wife is working so Poppy doesn't get her usual "Dog Day". Will have to give her some additional attention at luchtime. Poppy's figured out that I'm a handy guy to have lunch with. I drop a lot of stuff, sometimes on purpose. Done feeding bottle lambs at noon now so at least there is that. Best get on with the day.  :coffee:

Ah jeez, almost fergot, Happy Birthday a day late, boar! Hopefully the Mrs. gave you that "come hither" look... :sleazy:

Sooo, I ended up leaving my battery operated pump at the lake, thinking I'll just order another. Nope, fergot but I had momma order this cheapo hand squeeze guy for back up, dang it worked great. The little snow chucker has a goofy tank which for yrs i put it up on saw horses and just tipped the fuel out, not no mo! The big one is a wide open tank so anything works,  think I'll run this route here and the battery one there..

Mornin gents, 44 here & we're headed towards 59. The hourly looks like we could get some light rain this morning. Got my new wheels on the dock but it's not quite the way I'd like it. No hurry there & I've got a couple other things I can do today early. 'Bout it here, hoping your Saturday's a good 1.

Hey Scenic what do you have to do to brand new boat?  rig it??  have a good day all!!

Well a very unique one here.  We are actually going to un-rig it to start with.   This is a basic bench style boat with the exception of the U shaped seat in that back.   This couple finds a boat they "ALMOST" like.  But even before they buy it that ask us to look at it to see if we can make a couple of changes.  We said we could so they bought it.

We are going to refab the back seating area because he does not like the U shape, add some storage hatches in the other seats, build a battery compartment on one side and a gas tank compartment on the other side semi under the back seat,  put a hinged w/latch flat floor in it, since it is a basic resort style boat the gas tank and battery was made to just sit in the back and the lines for both came over the splashwell.   We are going to make the battery and fuel lines go through the splashwell and underneath so they don't have their feet tangled in them but yet keep the splashwell functional.   Adding 12v accessory and USB ports, interior LED lights, permanent bow lights with switches for all, install a color match transducer plate and an onboard battery charger/maintainer,   And putting custom printed registration stickers on it.

To the trailer we are adding step style fenders and a walk way for loading and unloading as well as ratcheting transom tie downs.

Basically building them the boat exactly what they want and how they want it set up.  This couple spent weeks looking for the exact thing and since they could not find it they want us to create it.    I will take some pics.

I'm off to Cambridge this morning to pick up food plot seed. 80 bags of beans and corn. Hopefully most of it gets picked up this afternoon. Built a skid to put the snowmobile on and set on the mezzanine along with cleaning up most of the garage yesterday. Still have the workbench side to do. I reallllly need to look into getting rid of some of this "stuff". Have a great day all, later..... :happy1: :happy1:

Morning boys.  We are looking at 43 now and should get to 68 now.  They are saying only 55 tomorrow and in the afternoon or evening snow starting and should see 2-4" by Monday morning.  ???   I see the water puddles disappeared overnight.  I stabbed them with my ski pole/walking stick yesterday.  LOL  We have a chance of rain for an hour or so this morning too.  It is cloudy.  Gonna be a great day.  Will have a fire here later too I'm thinking.  May sweep the garage out too.  I've been leaving the doors open when it is warmer outside then in the garage.  Itching to get the excavator out but don't want to tear things up yet.  We shall see.  LOL  Have a good day all of you.   Oh ya Scenic.  Your boat stuff sounds fun.  I have bought boats over the years and loved to get them all fixed up to my tastes.  I have had over 20 boats and remember them all. Worked my way up to a new one finally.  I too wondered if this is your full time employment.  Sounds like it.

Mornin' fellow gulag comrades! 37 for a low, 39 at choretime, heading for a high in the mid-to-upper sissties. Will have a breeze out of the S 15- 20 mph, gusting to 30 so that should get us heading the right direction. Got thru pruning 3 of my buddy's trees yesterday, the one's that required major surgery. Hopefully I can get thru the other 3, wait, 4 now he's planted another pear tree. That one's small & won't take long. Waiting for a call from our 4-H friends who have a bunch of nice small square bales they want to get rid of. Running on fumes on small squares again so will need to get some today or tomorrow. These are good sized bales so they should last longer. Have loads of other projects too but those are the priorities. So glad you're keeping active Scenic. Not that I had any doubts. I know it would be tough for me to sit still if something like that happened here, especially this time of year.

Morning boys. I had trouble getting on here this morning. 50 and heading for mid 60s. Plan was to hit the ice early this morning. I was up by 6. But, decided to relax and make some breakfast instead. I will get out there later. Fished last night and it was slow. Probably not helping my drive to get out there. Have a good one boys.

I'm done working for the day too.  Just made the wife a dog warshing station.  4 x 4 legs. 2 x 6 platform.  It is 26" high and the platform is 44 long x 26 wide.  It is right over our pit in the basement so will drain nicely.  Now we (she) doesn't have to bend over anymore.  Will be great.  Play time now after lunch.
