Dog? started pointer perhaps? Don't mind a road trip to secure this pup?well look no further.

Posting for a friend, this is a dream dog that needs a home due to relocation,he's ready to roch-n-roll come fall.

To those who peruse the wild places;

I have an almost 2 year old German Wirehair that needs a new home.
He's been a GREAT hunting dog so far. He's AKC papered and still
intact under the name Gunnar der Berg Konig (Gunnar the Mountain
King). He hunts chukar, huns, quail, doves, sharp-tails, pheasants,
and ducks. He's been in a layout goose blind once. I've also done a
little blood tracking training with him.

He has a LOT of drive. A good search pattern. A very soft mouth. A
great nose and is great with kids (I have a 1 and 3 year old). He's
been exposed to house cats and doesn't appear aggressive towards them,
but I don't own one myself. He's very quick; he's killed 4 squirrels
in the yard this year. My only critique is that he needs work on his
point. He had a stellar performance in the NAVHDA Natural Ability test
at 10 months and would have brought home a prize if he would have
given a better point.

If you know of anyone looking for a FANTASTIC DOG, please pass on my
info. My wife leaves Mountain Home, ID on June 20th and he needs to be
re-homed before then. Email is preferable due to the time zone
difference (I'm 16 hours ahead of Mountain Time).

I have been in denial these last few weeks. My job has taken me to
Okinawa and I'm only now admitting to myself that bringing my dog to
the island wouldn't be fair to him. There's no place to hunt, no place
to run, too many people, and too much jungle. In other words, the only
open space is the ocean.

I'm asking $1,000 but will consider any good home & legitimate offer.

Anyone interested shoot me a PM.
