Nautical Chart and SonarChart™ 1 ft HD bathymetry map are preloaded, while customers can visit navionics.com to download Community Edits and update their charts with daily updates for one year.

Sounds great.  I had a Navionics chip in my old Lowrance (LMS334c). Last year i upgraded to a Lowrance Elit-9 chirp.  This came with the "Lake insight PRO" chip and i have been using that.  How do the two compare?  Any reason to expect significant differences?

There is no online side by side comparison, each lake is deferent between the 2 sometimes. You can go to the Navionics Web App and preview the mapping or look at your Mobile App and look at the data available on Navionics Map cards. Its the same across the board.

Be sure to to look at the High Definition Sonar Chart layer.
