I knew it was something different. It used to start like a sat or Sunday when the ads came out. I got burnt a  few times thinking I had till Saturday to get in on the ad prices.  That's been a while, ive caught on to there shenanigans. :rotflmao: all I know, after working at the grocery store for 6 weeks now FF doesn't take stocking or pulling the products that are on the shelves forward to be readily available for customers very seriously.

Mike, I would get the 12”. Before you buy a cover, see if any of the cover from your pot & pans will fit

Go for it Mike! I use ours on the grill at least once a week , we have a 12" and 2 smaller ones. Even used it on the glass top stove without scratching it. Although I've never had a use for a cover.

I have 2.....an 8 inch and a 10 inch. Don't use either of them. Except the 8 inch to pound meats flat.

I also sometimes use the 10 to make a deep dish pizza. Recipe from America's Test Kitchen.

I use them for frying fish, spaghetti sauce, strifry. Also use them on the grill when camping. I have a 12" in the house and 10" in both the fish house and camper.

I have a 12" and a 10" also.  I use them too.  I like to do bacon on the side burner on the grill when nicer out.  I do use them for some things in the house too like JB said.  My Mom just gave me her deeper chicken fryer so waiting to use that too.  I like them.  Just another tool to make cooking fun.

Stopped at holiday gas yesterday seen they had lottza mottza 5 fer 25 bucks!!

The grocery store had most for 5 bucks each. No pictures but we tried a different lottza mottza, the buffalo chicken. It was ok, I like a few pieces at a pizza buffet, but not a whole pizza

5 bucks each is a good price for them!!

One of my fellow stocking coworkers said he wanted to get a pork loin. The meat department guy said wait till Friday, it's going to be cheaper.

For anyone interested in them

Have a nice big meatloaf ready to put in the oven.  Added onion soup mix to it too.  I read a recipe where this guy said his mother always poured some milk in it before mixing so I did that.  He said they made two meatloafs side by side one with milk one without.   The one with milk was much more juicy.

Well it's not on the stove yet but it will be.  We love corned beef.  I have done the bacon cure thing many times and it is fun.  I want to buy a brisket and cure my own corned beef.  I may do a practice run before St. Pats day and then do one then too.  I'm reading up on it now.  The next time I am at the meat market I will look for a brisket.
