Well, what did you expect? A dissertation on how to brown the top of creme brulee?? It's Glenn! He was thirty years old before someone told him ya don't pour it on salads!!!  :doah:

I had some fat bovine-type waitress at Wapplebee's tell me that Russian dressing goes on a Rueben, not thousand Island......I had asked for some more, as there was hardly any on it.  Told her if she was gonna argue about, I'd get up and leave, and she could eat it herself. No, she didn't get a tip either. Shoulda left her a 1/4 bale of hay.

Sorry, Reb.   She was right.  Reubens typically are made with Russian Dressing.

OK. If I ever go in there again, I'll leave her half a bale of hay.

"Thousand Island dressing is commonly used as a substitute for Russian dressing.[citation needed] "

The finished eggs. I wrote my recipe down last year, so they'd be just right every time...

Reb's Deviled eggs
(This is for 6 eggs)

Hard boil eggs for 15 mns, cool for 15 mns, shell, halve, and pop yolk into small glass bowl. Use a fork to "mash" dry eggs yolks until med-fine. Don't "powder" or over mash the eggs!

Add to the yolks:

2 Tbsp Miracle whip
1 1/8 tsp yellow mustard
1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp horseradish sauce  (or 1 tsp reg hradish)
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp salt
Smoked paprika
Dill weed

Blend until just a tad lumpy. Fill egg halves; dust with dill weed and paprika. Pop into 'fridge uncovered for about an hour, then cover tightly.  Enjoy!

Reuben egg rolls, sometimes called "Irish egg rolls" or "Reuben balls", use the standard Reuben sandwich filling of corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese inside a deep-fried egg roll wrapper. Typically served with Thousand Island dressing (instead of Russian dressing) as an appetizer or snack, they originated at Mader's, a German restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where chef Dennis Wegner created them for a summer festival in about 1990

So................................... which of those 4 ways to get katchup out of a bottle do we think glenn uses the most? ;) Kick it & lick it? The balloon? The Shop Vac method or the ceiling fan method? Personally, I vote for the ceiling fan method. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
