What's on the stove, oven, or crockpot today?

Here's my recipe for the beef soup....



               Reb’s Beef Soup

1 ¼- lbs trimmed beef stew meat
32 oz (1 carton) UNSALTED natural beef stock, plus 2 cups UNSALTED beef broth;  Or 2 cups of water with a large Tbsp beef bouillon mixed in.
1 cup sliced carrots  (I use baby carrots)
1 cup chopped celery (sliced)
2 med potatoes, any kind, peeled and cut into cubes
1 large onion, quartered into 1/4" wide strips
½ tsp onion powder
⅛ tsp rosemary
1 tsp seasoned salt
Pinch or two of garlic powder
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Ground black pepper

Cook beef, Worcestershire, and onions in a large pot, over med-low heat, until beef is almost done. While that is cooking, microwave carrots, celery , and potatoes in a covered glass bowl until slightly tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Pour stock over beef; add veggies, seasoned salt, pepper,  rosemary, and onion powder.
Simmer covered for 30 minutes over low heat.
Enjoy!

Well, only had one frozen tub of chicky noodle left, so it was a Cobb salad and a maple seasoned pig chop last nite.  Got a batch of chicky noodle goin' right now, gotta build my supply back up. Sure smells good in here! Will hit the spot later....

                                Ode to a snausage

Snausage! Snausage!  Gets ya stoked! Made into sticks or hung and smoked!
Stuff the grinder or slice for jerky, when yer out huntin' it'll make ya perky!
On a cracker or sliced with cheese, a hunk 'o snausage is sure to please!
Serve with a cold beer or a shot of rye, it's sure to put a gleam in yer eye!

Quick 'n easy dinner. Was busy all day with final insurance crap for Mom, then running around getting her needed stuff off the list they gave me where she's at...right after I had just finished shopping for my Groceries and stuff. Right back to store again...  
Anywho, I had two nice smoked ham steaks, made a chef's salad, some rolls, and had one of those tiny 4" apple pies I'd gotten for Mom tonite. "I don't want apple! Why didn't you get cherry?"  Aaaaargh!!!
