We had the HD Burrito banquet tonight.  They were great.  We are going have them again tomorrow.  May get some chips and have the nacho thing.  Good stuff HD.  And I froze 3 containers of it.

You know that yellow pollen from the jack pines (and my scotch pines too)?   I bet if we could figure out a way to gather that, the foodies would pay big money for it.

HEY HD!!! On yer burrito recipe, says to brown hamburger then add taco seasoning...do you add the water to it like when making the burger for tacos, or just dump the seasoning on the burger when in the crack pot? Gonna make it this weekend...

Yup, you add the water just like you make taco meat.
The original recipe I had, said to lightly brown... but I didn't want to run the risk of some not cooking all the way through.

Do you cook the rice before adding?  I didn't and it got kind of dry until I stirred it.  I think I will cook it next time.  My crock pot must cook hot.  I think after 4 hrs it would have been good in mine.

Hey guys, these are great, too. I've made them a lot.

Easy Chicken & Cheese Enchiladas

1 can Campbell's Condensed Cream of Chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup Pace Picante Sauce - Medium chunky
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 tsp taco seasoning
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
½ or morecup shredded Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar
6 (6-inch) flour tortilla, warmed
1 small tomato, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 green onion, sliced (about 2 tablespoons)

Heat the oven to 350°F. Stir the soup, sour cream, picante sauce and chili powder in a medium bowl.

Step 2
Stir 1 cup soup mixture, chicken and cheese in a large bowl.

Step 3
Divide the chicken mixture among the tortillas. Roll up the tortillas and place seam-side down in an 11 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Pour the remaining soup mixture over the filled tortillas. Cover the baking dish.

Step 4
Bake for 40 minutes or until the enchiladas are hot and bubbling. Top with the tomato and onion.

With all that Accent (MSG) in there it would have to improve the flavor... :rotflmao:

Yaa, and add water to it. Just like the mix we used to make at butcher grind shop for Taco John's taco filling...they had us pump as much water in it as it would take. (Taco John's)
 Now ya know the secret...

So Glenn, and I mean this with all due respect since I do respect the he77 out of you.  What are the things you don't like.  I can't remember them all.  Bacon I can't forget.

So it is:
1.  bacon
2.  whipped cream
3.  tater tot hot dish
4.  pancakes
5.  tartar sauce
6.  olives
7.  waffles
8.  catfish
9.  sweet pickles
10. marshmallows
11. apple juice
12. honey
13, Panko bread crumbs

anything else Glenn?
this is getting interesting.
