My Mom would mix cottage cheese with Lipton onion soup mix, and we would spread it on saltine crackers. We didn’t have much money so Ritz crackers were out of the question. I remember it as not being to bad.

A friend of mine likes French dressing on his cottage cheese.  Here is what I was going to have for breakfast but turned out having for lunch.  The wife had a fish sandwich.  This is one of my favorite meals.  Wish I had some cottage cheese to go with it Glenn..

Scandal-plagued President Nixon had an unusual snack favorite: cottage cheese and ketchup. According to the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California, Nixon liked to eat the odd combo for breakfast. He sometimes substituted other cottage cheese toppings, like pepper or fruit, for the ketchup.

And sometimes black olives.
