That's what the blast at 450 was for.  Also could have fired up the griddle on the camp chef outside, except it was raining.

The fat rendered and it had a decent crust without a bunch of overcooked meat.

Man that looks great Del.  I would like a slice of that with my eggs this morning.  I am thinking of something to cook today.  Since it is kind of a crappy day may as well watch the smoker or grill cooking me something.  Not sure what yet.  Maybe a fatty so we can munch on it for a few days.  There is no rib roasts in my freezer but I do have a large ribeye.  Could do that too.

So Glenn, and I mean this with all due respect since I do respect the he77 out of you.  What are the things you don't like.  I can't remember them all.  Bacon I can't forget.

So it is:
1.  bacon
2.  whipped cream
3.  tater tot hot dish
4.  pancakes
5.  tartar sauce
6.  black olives
7.  waffles
8.  catfish
9.  sweet pickles
10. marshmallows
11. apple juice
12. honey
13, Panko bread crumbs
14. green olives
15. cottage cheese
16. cream style corn
17. mango
18. pickled beets
19. herring in cream sauce
20. cooked or canned pineapple
21. shrimp

anything else Glenn?
this is getting interesting.

I am already bored and the day just started.  The cold windy weather has me down a little.  Thinking I may need to make a cooking project.  Not sure what though.  Mentioned fatties yesterday.  Still thinking about them.  ???

You are pretty funny Glenn.  She is cleaning since we will have the 7 year old Grandson for Memorial Weekend.  I do help but when it gets serious I go to the garage and turn on the flat screen.  LOL  Or I take Buddy and we go do recycling.  Nice drive to town.

Guy from our church funeral today at 4.  So I guess it is ham buns and potato salad for dinner.....  Or whatever they serve.   He was 90, but had some mental issues the last few....

Had a pork chop sammich for lunch. Just tossed together a few things I had laying around. Mrs. Gerry's salads & cottage cheese were on sale so I stocked up! Ready for my nap now...  :happy1:

I have 2 bacon wrapped fatties in the Smoker right now.  1 is with Italian Sausage with spinach, jalapenos, onions, green peppers, spinach and mozzarella cheese.  The other one is with garlic sausage, same veggies but has more jalapeno and it has sharp cheddar cheese..    :sleazy:

Looks great RH.  Never did it over rice.  Spuds or wide noodles though.  We like rice so will try it.  Getting the chops very tender is the trick.  Fall apart I mean.
