I like that sandwich Reb.  Tasty chuck roast sandwich.  Except the white bread.  Even as a kid I didn't eat white bread.  I remember as a kid in Duluth my dad would buy medium rye bread from a bakery back then that was awesome.  Don't make bread like that anymore.  Closest I found is Panera.  I did buy some white bread when I had kids because that's all they would eat.  good luck.
same here. since i need to watch what i eat i never buy or eat whits bread, or as little as possible. to the point i dont care for it. i prefer the wheat bread, or as my friend says bird seed bread!!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I buy rye bread that is from the bakery across the river in Canada but they sell it in the grocery store here.  It is not real dark brown but has seeds in it Glenn.  I don't get the mass produced crap except when they run out of the bakery bread.  So full of preservatives that it doesn't taste good.  Usually end up throwing it out when I see the bakery bread is back on the shelf.  LOL   Man RH that chicken looks great. I keep trying but still haven't made great fried chicken.  I love it too.  My Grandma always had fried pork chops the day before she made fried chicken.  She used the pork grease as part of the flavor for the chicken and it gave it color.  I haven't tried that myself.

That's fer sure. Guess you don't know about the north line hunt area...

Roast goose is great, and cooked right, not greasy like everyone thinks. I love it.

I've heard the geese know about it....   Up up and away... Stay just far enough inside.
You aren't the guy that lured a goose at silver lake into his back seat with some corn,  some years back, are you?   I heard that didn't work out well.

If Glenn opened a restaurant where all he served was steaks, would he call it the Smurf and Turf?
