Brought up with buttered noodles with fish. And da stewed mater's are da icing on the cake. :happy1: :happy1: me loves putting stewed mater's on my buttered noodles. I could make a meal of that alone.

Yesterday I made a Greek dish.  Falafel's and Gyro meat and what goes with it.  One thing in making it all is that it takes a lot of prep work.  Made it before and didn't really want to make it again but it was for my wife for her birthday.  It's damn good but the prep work is what I don't care for.  Not cheap at all.  ground lamb was 8.99 lb.  And the sauces like tzatziki sauce ain't cheap as well.  But it was good.  Having left overs today.  good luck.

That looks just great.  I would love to try more Greek food.  I love Gyros with lamb and that white sauce is great too.  Tell her Happy Birthday from us!

Thought of you guys on this one,  No crockpot needed. A 2 pound pork roast seared , surrounded with apples,  taters, onions, sweet taters ( which were tossed in olive oil sage ground allspice and garlic) then baked at 425 for 45 minutes. Let rest for a few, then top with a glaze of apple cider vinegar and apple cider ( da wife added a little starch to thicken) .. quick and fork tender. :happy1:
