Me too.  A Rueben would be right up there with a chuck roast in a pot roast with onions, spuds, and big carrots not those little ones.  Mayhaps some celery too!

Made a 2 1/2 lb meat loaf last night.  Used pork and beef.  Turned out pretty good.  I sent pics to my email so I could post it twice but still isn't here.  Oh well.  Better luck next time.

Ok this is not worthy of youse guys close to Food Network pics of food but I haven't done it in awhile so just shooting this at youse.  Pork and Beef Meatloaf.  Was pretty darn good.  Maters, cukes onions out of garden with Vidalia Onion dressing.  MAN is that good dressing.  It would make an old slipper taste good.

Fresh picked green bells filled with a homemade pasta sauce from the romas mixed with hot Italian sausage and topped with mozzarella , man were those tasty.

This is the 2nd and 3rd qt of pasta sauce the mrs. whipped up and it is tasty. So its spaghetti and garlic bread night, but the kicker is the noodles have been made out of straight neck squash with some gadget she has. Im thinking it'll be good but we'll see!

I bought a 10 lb bone in ham.  I took a piece off of it and froze it, the rest went into the ham and bean soup.  I did make a sandwich too with it.  Turned out to be a great batch.  With a pkg of celery and carrots cut up in it too.  A good splash of Mother's apple cider vinegar and a splash of liquid smoke.  Lots of onions too.

Lasagna with the pasta sauce she made with an interesting twist, thinly sliced zookini for the noodles. We'll see.

That looks good Bobber.  Nice touch with the zucchini.

It was tasty,  although the zookini put out lots of water which we took out with a baster then let set a bit before cutting.  We'll do it again.

I put a frozen chunk of pork loin in the Sous Vide.  And yes Del is cool!  I just put some Cavenders on it and  revac packed it.  Set it at 145 and now am going to brown it in a cast iron pan.  We will see how it goes.

Wife has wanted to try this.
I wonder what would happen if you dehydrated the zucchini in slabs first.

Sure could try it, keep it shorter maybe.  She mentioned next time adding salt to dry the moisture out.

Tater Tot Hot Dish.  A layer of 2 lbs of ground beef.  A layer of mushrooms.  A layer of onions.  Mix a can of cream of chicken, celery, and mushroom soup  together and cover with this.  Add a can of corn/peas or both.  Cover that with 2 lbs of tater tots.  Cook at 350 for 45 minutes.  Take out and cover thickly with cheddar cheese or whatever cheese you like.  Cook for another half hour.  Take out and let sit for 10 minutes.  You will love it.  Sometimes I use a pkg of Onion soup mix instead of the onions.  OR both.  Cook uncovered the whole time.
