I have to admit, I wouldn't mind searing something like a prime rib or a beef roast then slow cook in a boil...just to see . Maybe even cold smoke it first for a while.

Glenn, isn’t that discrimination? Just think how good your Northern fillets would have turned out if you had Sous Vide then for 30 hours?

How did that beef turn out with the sous vide Bobb?  Looks like meatloaf is in our menu tonight.  Been awhile since we have had it.

It turned out great! Perfect medium rare, very tender, perfect for roast beef sandwiches. The only problem with thin slices roast beef is it never last long.
