Beef stew sounds great.  Haven't done it for a few years.  May have to do that.  SO Glenn and this is serious.  Are you really having a PB&J with it?

PB and J on toasted home made bread makes a nice breakfast... And you don't get the skillet good and greasy.

I had a PB&J the other day on some rye bread due to seeing Glenn's culinary suggestions.  It was pretty darn good too!  Been a long time.

So I got a question. Yesterday Sue made that beef stew. We had a beef stew seasoning packet in the cupboard. I convinced her to use it. Not even sure where we got it. We rarely buy any seasoning packets except for sketti and taco seasoning. On rare occasions a gravy season packet for biscuits and gravy.

So... Adding that seasoning packet made it taste salty. Anyone hot any ideas what we could add too make it less salty tasting other than watering it down. I feel kinda stupid for suggesting it but didn't know. Beef bouillon would of been much better.

Salt is of course the main spice in many things.  A friend of mine's Dad used to make a lot of sausage.  He would cook silver dollar patties to see if he liked the mix before he stuffed it.  I should do that too.  Anyways once too much salt is there you can't remove it.  He always told me that if it is too salty to add sugar to help hide the salt.   ?????  I can see it helping.  Not too much sugar though.
