I got booted otta the kitchen but the mrs  is whipping up shredded pork enchiladas, all I was doing was stealing cheese.. :confused:

Been a while since momma had me mix up a meatloaf,  had to kinda guess what went in it. But I did slice a pc of string cheese in half and stuffed in the middle.  Pairing with squished taters and red lobster biscuits,  not sure yet on a side salad.. :scratch:

working on making a wild rice, yes hand harvested from up north, hamburger hot dish...  browning some onions, celery and seasoning that.  add the burger and mushrooms ( just for Glenn!!) and plenty of butter..  looking good and smells good too!!  and again for Glenn adding some bacon too!!!

You are getting an early start Mike.  I found a chunk of ham in the freezer that needed eaten so made ham and bean soup yesterday.  Will be better today.  Pellets just arrived for the Daniel Boone.  A bag of pecan and a bag of cherry.

overnight. :scratch: uffda. Doesn't that turn to mush. My wild rice recipe says 3 hours???

What do you soak it in??? Mine uses this beef consomme soup.

water, it soaks so you can clean off the dust and shell residue..  you would be surprised how much rinses off when you run water over it after soaking over night...    and remember I'm using hand harvested...

just made a small pasta salad with pepperoni, onion, black olives, radishes and some cheese in it..  came out darn good I'd say...
