Buttermilk? Oh man that brings back memories. One of my Dad's favorites when stopping at Little Oscar's on US 52 was a Rueben with a glass of buttermilk. I liked it too. That was in the 60's. I bet you'd get the "huh?"reaction if you asked for that now.

We like Aldi's cottage cheese, gotta add your own chives though. We like diced onion & tomato chunks in ours most of the time.

It was between Tater Tot Hot Dish or Stroganoff.  The wife picked the Stroganoff.  Put some liquid smoke in it and it was great!

Those costco chickens are a heck of a deal...  I really like them.   We can eat for days off one chicken.

Can't wait for the wife to take off for several days coming up. I'd like nothing better than to do a couple decent yardbirds on the rotisserie.  :happy1:

I got one of those George foreman rotisserie thingys, but they are a complete PITA to clean up. :pouty:

But it works good. For the price and size of that Costco bird can hardly buy one and do it yourself.

Not only that, but Costco has very good fruits and veggies. Only issue I've had was not ripe 🥝.

:cheerleader: :banghead: we in such a hurry to eat forgot to take a picture of chow tonight. :pouty: momma made enchiladas.

But we have a problem here. wife went to Costco Thursday, brought home a 2 lb container of strawberries, 4 lb container of grapes and a big ole watermelon. Watermelon cut up fit in 2 ice cream pails and another Tupperware container.

Tonight, it's all gone. :pouty:  :doah:

Crockpot's going with wild turkey. After a number of hours wild rice and other ingredients will be added to make the best wild rice wild turkey soup you can imagine.  Can't wait for supper.
