If brinner is breakfast for dinner, what is pizza and beer for breakfast?
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

I used to work swing shift at an ethanol plant. Work 2 weeks 7:00 am till 7:00 pm, then 2 weeks 7:00 pm till 7:00 am. When I got off work at 7:00 am, I didn't want breakfast. I wanted pizza and beer.

That looks tasty! 😋
My daughter made these for everyone on the 4th as we waited for grilled porkchops.  Can't remember what was in it, but I said, I'm keeping the bobber!  :rotflmao:

That is a "float".  Do you know the difference from a bobber or a float?  About $2.  LOLOL  Thills are great!

That's pretty neat Leech! I don't think I've ever called a bobber of any kind a float, just seams different...

Wednesday, my wife and daughter decided to bake some oatmeal and raisin cookies since they're my favorite. They had to make a quick run to the store. So, I asked them if I could help since I wasn't doing much.
My instructions included putting a piece of parchment paper on the baking sheet before I drop the cookie dough on the sheet.
Apparently, there is a difference between parchment paper and wax paper. Who knew?
I'm guessing they won't let me help in the future.

Yes, big difference! Wax paper cannot go in the oven and shouldn't be used for baking. That's what parchment paper is good for. Or instead of parchment paper you can use those reusable silicone baking mats. Those also help to prevent cookies from browning/burning on the bottom. Wax paper is good for when you're dipping fruit in chocolate and letting it harden. Or when you've made decorated cookies and need to stack them in a container - separate the layers with wax paper so the cookie layers don't stick together.
Yes - I like to bake cookies!!  :rotflmao: ;)

A wee bit of brown burn on the bottom is just what I likes.  ;)

I made an easy classic for supper the other night... tater tot hotdish! Simple but delicious and filling. John and I were talking about the numerous ways to vary this recipe and next I'm going to make a Mexican tater tot hotdish!! I'm thinking adding taco seasoning to the meat, maybe some black beans rather than the green beans, and some enchilada sauce? We'll have to see what I end up with whenever I make it! 😁😁😋😋

I really like tater tot hotdish!!   but I now use mini tots instead of the regular sized ones...  Mexican style sounds great!!!

Make sure you make enough for all of us. I'll bring a couple cases of beer. Grain Belt Premium OK with everyone?

Looks great.  I like almost every hot dish our soup.  This is almost sacrilegious I know but we experimented last night.  We had 3 bone in pork chops so the wife rubbed with oil and spiced them up and cooked them in the air fryer for about 20 minutes.  They came out browned and well done but juicy in the middle.  One of the best pork chops I ever had.  Will do that again.  Sorry for no pics.

Pasta e Fagioli—good stuff. It’s pronounced Pasta fazool and means pasta and beans. Olive Garden used to have it as an endless soup with their endless salad lunch specials. Don’t know if they still do.
