Norwegian sushi, Conger cranberry summer sausage, Swiss, Muenster & Monterey Jack cheese for appetizers. Traditional oyster stew made with oysters from Morgan's & Hope Creamery butter of course. 😋

Last night I made chicken drummies in the oven and stove top stuffing. It’s quick and easy and so yummy! 😋😋

Looks great & bet it was mighty tasty. Nothing wrong with Stove Top as a side either. Mom made homemade stuffing all those years but only at holiday time. When a person saw what a workout it was, you understood why. 🤔

Pregame venison/shroom omlette with 'Merica Fries.  Yeah, I know... What is this mythical thing called left-over venison backstrap?  Well, I made an extra chunk for this very breakfast!

The meat loaf looks flat there but was actually 2.5 lbs.   SO here is a big idea that I have been working on for many months.  I have been saving orange peels cut up and lime peels in zip loc bags in the freezer.  Homemade potpourri.  I have been putting way too many in the pot.  A good handful is all it takes not a whole qt bag.  SO I turn some on before lunch and after lunch I take my mandatory retirement nap.  OK Cooper won and he is on my lap.  I actually did fall asleep this time and woke up to a burning smell.  WTF.  We jumped up and here I boiled the water out of the potpourri concoction.  It smelled really bad as I got closer.  Put it in the sink with water and it just sizzled.  Good ol Febreeze has been getting some work today trying to cover up my mess.   SO the nice stainless 2 qt pot is burned.  I scraped a lot out and now I sprayed that strong Dawn into it twice.  Hope I can save it.  Nothing fancy but I have had it for years.   SO don't fall asleep with you potpourri on the stove.
