I made the meatloaf and the wife made the spuds.  This is the second time she has made these instant ones and they are fantastic.  The brand is Idahoan. These came in a bag and they make Au Gratin type ones in a box.  Each time we had them I was impressed.  Of course a slab of real butter is mandatory too.  :sleazy:

I got some plain pork sausage and am going to make a batch of homemade breakfast sausage patties tomorrow.  I did it before and was great.  Freeze patties in a bag so I can take a couple out and fry them up for breakfast.  Make great burgers too for a change. Eggs were only $4.59 a dozen today.  I had to look at 5 cartons to find two without a broken egg.  Glenn does not work here neither.  LOL

Only $4.59...isn't it crazy when we feel thar is a good price??

That meat loaf looks good.  We eat some of those taters as well.  I added sour cream and chives to them.

Bobb you are one heck of a cook.  Everything you make looks so good.  I am trying to think of what to cook today.  Kind of between chicken thighs on the grill or walleye some way.

I saw this nice eye of round when in Hugos yesterday.  I went and got it today.  It has already been sliced and brined for a couple of hours.  Just put it in the oven at 180 with the door cracked with a wooden spoon.  It is on cookie sheets with a menagerie  of different sized racks.  Will be done in a few hours.  I need some nice racks the size of my cookie sheets.  I see them on the cooking shows.  I may have to order some for the wife.   :sleazy:

I ended up ordering mine off Amazon.  They work good for jerky racks in the smoker too
