Youth opener

Had a great morning with my youngest daughter.we saw a lot of wood ducks and had a flock of geese fly over.  She shot 23 times and didn't drop anything.  We were also checked by the new lady warden.  The usual questions. Steel shot, lisence, and plug check.  I use 3 inch shells, but for my daughter I dropped down to 2 3/4.  I never double checked but when the warden had me check 3 shells fit in the tube.   she let us off with a warning since she had watched us for an hour and we never shot 4 times.

Are you saying you didn't have a plug in your gun? I was out yesterday morning watching my field(oats) for activeity as this field was loaded with birds on opener,nothing much flying,with a small private lake and two nice ponds on this private land (280 arces) I was surprised only a handful of ducks were in the air@ day break.
Oh,but the skeeters!,thank goodness for therma cell.
