Yesterday I spent the day at my land with a friend looking for burls.  He is a wood worker and uses the wood from burls to make some absolutely beautiful stuff.
We found a few and he will cut them this winter.

***I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.***

WOW! thats cool deadeye. i know a couple people that look for what they call diamond willow but not that.

I have thought about it for years but really don't have the wood working equipment to do it. I have seen some nice Burls and one up where we Deer hunt as big as a car door!
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!
