    • Fishing & Hunting South Dakota's Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe
The fishing season is winding down and as a result I am not on the water every day so these reports will be spaced around trips that I do or any real change in the bite. Then I will update the report. I took repeat customers the Stumiller's from Ne then the Ingels from Kansas and the Bassetts from Ne out mostly on Sharpe. Did do a couple of days on Oahe but both these trips met very limited success and the bite on the big lake just doesn't want to go. I had a great time with all of these party's in nice weather. Sharpe is still the best bet around Pierre with the bite in 10 fow out to 20 fow in some area's with crawlers still working but jigs/minnows coming into play more. Weekends still have a lot of boats on the water so expect company when fishing the river. Hunting season has arrived and numbers are good around Pierre but a lot of corn still standing. Weather so far has been real good except windy days off and on.
