The mice are everywhere it seems! :doah:

 :coffee:  .....
Chance are good that by now you have heard (or have experienced firsthand!) about the burgeoning mouse population in Minnesota.

 :reporter; ...
People all over are reporting observing mice everywhere—in their houses, garages, vehicles, sheds, wood piles . . . you name it. The cyclic nature of rodent populations, particularly mice and voles, generally goes unnoticed until they begin showing up in unwanted places.

They can squeeze through a 1/4 inch opening I have heard. They get in my fish houses every year. I just trap them. Every fall I have my little trap line . Last year I set  a couple traps in one of the  houses I came back 12 hours later and the only thing left in all 3 traps were skin/fur and bones. Zoiks what the w ll is in here I thought. Clean the traps and set them and it happen again? What the f I thought what kind of creature is in here. I did a little research and found they will eat there own?  I ended up getting 3 more with one that was still alive and hooked by his foot so I let him go down the road. It seems with the wet summers they always get worse.

I have caught 3 voles in my basement.  I forgot the trap was even there it has been so long since I caught anything.  The cat even caught a vole a couple of weeks ago.  I think I will go check the trap right now....
