I just spent a full 8 - 4 day working on my hunting property.  Marked three new trails that will be cleared this fall, cleared lots of downed trees from the trails and put all the stands to bed for the season. (removed cushions, chairs and other items).  Probably saw a dozen deer.  Most just stood 30-40 yards away and watched us.  It didn't matter if we stopped and watched, they didn't seem to care to much.  I was surprised at the number of tracks.  Usually at this time of year, I see large chunks of woods without a track. Not this year.  Unless the winter turns to crap, there should be an abundance of deer next year.
