The game will come to the bears defense and colts offense. That battle will win the game, the rest of the players can stay in the locker room. The bears have got to get pressure on manning. I don't think they will

IF.... the bears get 2 or 3 turn overs they have a shot. Payton is just the man to give them 2 or 3 chances, but the Bears need to get points off them turnovers.

Colts 31
Bears 17

If I was a mean prick, I'd say that those gals with mayfly were his Mom and Sister. Probably even outdrinking him.

But since I am a nice guy, I'll have to say nice midwestern beer drinkin gals...do they like fishing and football?

Manning has schredded several good defenses this year.  Even with Lovie wearing the magic sweater (Ditka's) from the 1985 season, the Colts will still win!

Thanks for the hot tip about the magic sweater. I wasn't aware of that. I'm calling my book right now to increase my bet on Da Bears. :-*

Anyone got any magic beans for sale?

Smallmouth,

I heard the sweater info on espn yesterday.  Lovie said he would be wearing Ditka's sweater from the 1985 super bowel (he hopes there is still some magic left in it).

I hope they washed it since 1985!  ;D

if you think about it, without that opening kickoff run back this would have been the blow out we all predicted.

Umm...Indy?!  I really wanted them to win.  Manning is the classiest QB in the NFL and arguably the best.  I can't say there is one single player for the Bears I can root for except Urlacher.  He again is great and classy.  In my opinion, the Bears are the worst team in my lifetime to make it to the Super Bowl (close the TB).  Why do you think they didn't take the chance on an embarrassing  Super Bowl Shuffle?

The Bears let me down boys  :-[  :'(  But I was right in my preseason prediction that the Bears were going to the Superbowl!  ;D  For a while I wasn't sure if it was the Bears or the Vikings playing!  :o    Maybe it was Vikes in Bears clothing?!!  ;D

Congrats to the Colts and their fans here at MNO.  They definently deserved the win!  And now to finish off my menu for the Superbowl I'll be eating a big bowl of CROW!  Anyone care to join me? ::)

Either way, I won 3 of 4 numbers and won a whopping $38 (the board wasn't filled to $100).  Still, the team I wanted to win did and I won a few bucks.  Seriously, my condolences to the Bears fans.  That sucks.  Just don't ask for sympathy from a Vikes fan.  Nuff said!

Add Devon Hester to the Vikings and we would of won 5 more games this year, then made it to the Super Bowl too. Hester single handedly won a half dozen games for the Bears.

Colts win by 2 touch downs

6 pts a touch down X 2 =12 pts sounds like griz was awful close to me. ;)

It was a good first half of football. Things went pretty much as expected except I didn't think the colt defense would play as well as they did and I did expect the colt offense to do a bit better. What the heck still got the point diff right.

it was the rain. I would have rather seen them play in a snowstorm than the rain.
it would have been an even more lopsided game had it not been for the rain.
I think it took alot off of the game.

Peyton Manning is a total class act! I'm so glad that he will finally get that "He can't win the big one" monkey off his back. Something I wish the Vikings could do. It also made me happy to see Tony Dungy get this win. Both he and Lovie Smith are to be congratulated for the great jobs they have done with their respective teams. Peyton Manning definitely deserved the MVP award. I think he's the best quarterback to come along since the world's all-time greatest ole #19 Johnny Unitas! ;D DIRTBALL2 ;)
