I got out on the lake today!
This lake only had 2 to 4 inches of ice with slush in most spots.

But, I managed to catch a few!

Jr and I hit the ice tonight. This is my haul, he caught only 4 crappies and 3 sunnies.
The old man schooled him again.... 
 So we came home with a 2 man limit of crappies and a few bonus sunfish.

Jr was fishing with a green marmooska.
And was using a jig that DDS made for me in a fire tiger pattern. He called the jig type a daphnia. (Sp)?
Just tipped with wax worms.

Did the jig look like a males yata.....    lol   That is pronounced yay du.  lolol  A word we used years ago.  So that is the word of the day Rebs.  The new NL likes Rebs yada....  Like that one jig someone posted awhile back.

I went out last night by myself and caught a few Crappies. I was the only one on the lake.....very peaceful....
