Joe Theismann slams training-087 49ers for giving Colin Kaepernick award.

 :reporter; .......
NEW YORK (AP) Former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann isn't happy :taz: with the San Francisco 49ers' decision to give Colin Kaepernick an award for ''inspirational and courageous'' player.
Kaepernick sparked a national debate by kneeling during the national anthem before games as a way of protesting racial injustice and police brutality.

 :bonk:
Kaepernick received the Len Eshmont Award last week. The prize is described as the team's most prestigious honor; its recipient is decided by players.

  ...
Theismann noted the team's 2-14 record during an appearance on Fox News on Tuesday and questioned what Kaepernick has inspired. He said, ''Everybody has the right to express their opinion, but not in the workplace.''

Theismann called on the NFL to adopt a policy requiring players to stand for the anthem. :moon:

That was confirmed to be just a frivolous rumor started by a frustrated X fare-weather Viking fan.  However, the Vikes did offer to trade three turds along wit Peterson for Kaepernick!

So in essence that would be the equivalent of six turds.

It's unreal that the 49rs would give that turd any reward at all.  He is nothing but a third stringer right now.  I would of made the best possible move for him, I would have cut him.  good luck.

Yep I would tell every player on the team you stand and your hands are on your heart or stay home.
