article in todays paper said he was from Richfield and got lost on the lake. the spot he dropped in on was open water.........seen it but was to late.

 Heres another
  SPICER – A 20-year-old New London man escaped injury Monday night after the pickup he was driving went through the ice on Green Lake.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Alec DeSchepper, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado near the inlet on the northwest corner of Green Lake when he went over an ice heave and broke through the ice.

DeSchepper, who was alone in the truck, was able to escape before the vehicle became submerged.

The incident was reported shortly after 9 p.m. about one-eighth of a mile away from the lake's inlet in New London Township.

On the news this morning,recovery company in Isle(MILLE LACS) has recovered 7 vehicles that dropped thru this season so far,YIKES!
