here is a Korean type reciepe I use!!!!!!

1/4 cup sesame oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tsp sesame seeds
2 large scallions.......I also use onions diced up at times.
1/4 tsp white vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp mustard powder 1/4 tsp pepper
I usually double the reciepe!

mix and pour over meat.
let it set at least 12 hours........up to 24 hours.shake or stir it ocassionally.
this is great fro things like round steak or cube steak........typically tougher meat.

its really good with venision steaks, especially if someone isn't a big venny steak fan!!!!

An  old farm boy friend of mine liked his steaks well done.  Man it was embarrassing to go to a steak house with him if he ordered steak.  We all looked at him and laughed our butts off.  Ya I think he put catsup on his too.....   What's the point of ordering a steak?  Although I guess to each their own.  When we first got married my wife liked hers pretty done too.  She came around and likes hers medium to medium rare now.  I felt like I was torturing them cooking them any longer....  lol

Now and then I'll do a marinade on the steaks with no seasoning, today was one of them. Used to use a product called allegros, pretty strong but a short covering worked good, I could only find it at cub. I have family down south that sends me Dale's marinade here and there and that's pretty close to the other.  45 minutes total and sear, pretty good. Works good on poultry to.
