ok heres the dealio! as i stated in the original post of polaris efi 650, I sated that it was efi elctric start. ok well i jut bought the thing last srping, brought it home and parked it. till now. I wathced my boss put a charger on it each time he wanted to start caus something drinaing the batterie and the batterie needed to run the efi and elc start so i thought.... so as ive been trying to diagnose the electric start porblem cause its got a battery right? must be electric start right? battery, switch electric start, gosh how funny things go from there, I called my bos and and asked him if he ever had any problem with the elctric start? "it dosent have electric start" WHAT? yup the battery is just to run the efi, if battery gose dead, nuthing pumps fuel to the injectors ect ect. Gosh funny huh? guys? well thanks for everything on this issue. cant get an electric start snocw cat to start by trying to figure out how come the elctric start dont work when it dont have electric start huh? funny stuff. gosh Im sure you guys will understand stand and not make a big deal out of this. right guys? closet one was JB but it was his second guesse, and a joke guesse. OPPERATOR ERROR. MIGHT HAVE TO pony up to jb! thank for playing, now feel free to harrass cause I deserve it, cant beleive that got away from me. pulls ove one shot, runs like a champ!! dam electric start.

I was half joking operator error. Operator error was almost my first guess, should have stuck with my gut instinct  . I should have known, I had a 92 500 EFI that operated just the same, but I thought maybe yours had electric start on it because you kept talking about electric start. Never to old to learn, right Boar.

the switch has that first, partial turn to the on position, then you can continue to turn the switch further but it retracts to the on position givin a false snse oc a starter switch, so the sitch has a an ON and a START  POSITION

WHEN i WOULD TURN IT TO THE START POSITION, THAT HELPed give me the false sense of electric start.
