I've put in a lot of time on Prior and Waconia the last few weeks, with not a heck of a lot of success, aside from one trip to Prior.

Has anyone else had any luck on Prior or Waconia (or any other SW Metro lake)? Seems like this cold snap the last couple weeks has hurt fishing some. I'm really looking forward to late week warm up they are talking about! 25-degrees will feel down right balmy!

I've heard that people are doing really good on O'dowd lately.  I was talking to a guy at the bar last night and he was nice enough to draw me a map of where I should be fishing.  I'll probably give that a try in the future.  The lake is only 3 miles from my house and I have only fished there once.

I've never fished Odowd but it's really close to my house too. I would have no idea where to go on that lake, though. I think I am going to hit the ice Wed this week as well as Friday and Sunday. Probably just keep trying upper prior off Winter Access...but I hate the amount of people that are out there. Would really like to find a lake that isn't as busy.

Well most of the houses on O'dowd are on the side of the islands closer to the road so I'm guessing that is where you would want to try.  There are always a lot of people out there when I drive by so if you want a lake that is not crowded you might want to go somewhere else.
