Dew I can't thank you enough.  Thoughtful of you to even remember my connection with Luverne.  It was a great place to grow up at.  That shrimp "Harbor" would be awesome.  A 48 million dollar building?????  Unreal.  We have had the shrimp conversation here already.   As in feeding them chicken poop and tilapia poop.  Well we hardly eat shrimp  anymore due to that.  I would love to see some midwest grown shrimp.  Isn't that ironic.   Here is another ironic tidbit.  Rock County where Luverne is has no natural lakes.   lol   Even though that has nothing to do with the shrimp harbor it is kind of funny that a seafood venture happens where there is no lake.   There is some ponds there and as kids we fished bass and sunnies in these ponds and had a great time.   Sounds like it is between Luverne and Marshall getting the harbor.  Kudos to whoever gets it.  Maybe will work out for both...     Thanks again Dew...  I just called mom and dad and talked about it with them...

Yes Mike I was probably in about second grade when I remember the pictures in the Rock County Star Herald.  Man that was a big deal.  I remember asking my mom why do they have to kill all of those cows.  She said "well that's where we get hamburger and you like hamburger don't you"?....  Lot's of jobs resulted from that.  Now it is a chicken processing facility...  That was an IBP Plant.  Iowa Beef Packers
