Looking for a long weekend stay...

I sent an email to the Little Whitefish Resort to see if I can get a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday stay in August.

We have a few things going on in August....Aug 6th is taken, as well as Aug 26th.
So, If I can get a date for the other weekends, you are more than welcome to show up for a get-to-gether!

This is what Dean sent to me for that weekend. I asked about camping sites with hookups. Waiting for reply....

Cabins 2,4,6,7 are open for weekend 10-13

Cabin 2. $185 per night 2 bed room 2 beds
Cabin 3 and 4. $190 per night large 2 bedroom 3 beds
Cabin 6.  $160 per night 2 bedroom 2 beds
Cabin 7.  $185 per night 2 bedroom 2 beds
I would need one night's deposit for each cabin rented and I'll take $10 off per night if you pay in cash when you get here on the balance due.

SO are any wives going on this excursion?  Doesn't matter just wondering.  AND the camper thing is interesting to me also.  I see it is so cheap to rent a boat it is almost free...   :-)

I like those down home resorts.  And the cafe is a great touch.  If I bring the camper I would bring my 4.5 Merc and rent a boat.

I took cabin 6 for the 10th thru the 13th. and bringing by own boat.

He said that he had room for 2 to 3 campers by cabin 6 with water and electric if needed.
He did not send me rates for the campers, so I emailed him just now for those.
I told him that you folks may be interested in renting boats as well.

Prolly the only weekend I will have free this summer/fall

Got weddings, re-unions and graduations to do (plus get my food plots in)

You all are welcome to show up, even if you just wanna stop for a beer.......

Here's what he sent me for the camper & RV sites....

rates for the RV spot is $35 per night the rate for the camper site in front of cabin 6 would be $25 per night because no sewer hook up on the spot.


Brad as far as the launch goes i have a cement pad and 3 docks. mainly one is used for boats others for fishing from. and sounds good to send me a check to hold and cash on arrival. same for anyone else that wants to come from your group knowing that it will be forfeited if they cancel within the 60 day time period.


when it comes to renting boats i have pontoons and row boats with motors on them.

Pontoon is $80 half day $150 all day with one tank of gas

row boat with motor is $60 dollars all day with one tank of gas

row boat no motor $5 per day with cabin rental (bring your own motor and gas if you have it)

probably not important at this time but getting closer to august, a reservation for pontoons and boat with motor is suggested mainly because its on the weekend they get used quite often as I'm one of two places that rents boats in the area.
