If you have ever had the Turkey to Go sandwich at the state fair you know how great it is.   

This is a recipe I found that comes pretty close to reproducing it.

Turkey to Go Sandwich

About This Recipe
"My attempt to duplicate a MN State Fair favorite; after attempting to contact the MN Turkey Grower's Association with no luck in obtaining the secret recipe. From what I understand, the state fair turkey is deep fried -- this version is crockpot cooked and very easy."
Ingredients
o   1 Butterball boneless breast of turkey ( a regular turkey breast with bone works fine.  That’s what I use.  It just needs to fit in crockpot.)
o   4 ounces chicken broth
o   1/4 cup butter
o   1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning
o   1 teaspoon onion powder
o   1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
o   buns ( either bakery hamburger style or BBQ bun style)
Directions
1.   Remove string from turkey breast (thawed, if you bought a frozen one).
2.   Place in crockpot.
3.   Add broth, seasonings and butter.
4.   Place a sheet of foil over breast meat to cover.
5.   Cover with crockpot lid.
6.   Cook on low 6-8 hours. (Until done.  I gave it an hour on high at the beginning.  )
7.   Remove breast meat from crockpot, reserve liquid.
8.   Shred meat with forks.
9.   Place back in crockpot - add enough of the reserved liquid to moisten.
10.   Serve on buns.
11.   You may garnish with BBQ sauce - but I personally like it just as it is.
