Question, I got on of those peak jump starter power packs from fleet farm. I plugged it in to charge it. The charge lite didn't go on. I touched the clamps together and no spark.

These things go to crap??

Unless ya take care of the battery in THAT, it goes to crap, like Mike said. Hen it cost ya $25 to replace THAT battery! Those things never made any sense to me.

We have a couple of them ,ours are made by Stanley, & we use them all the time. Especially up here as we have 3 boats, 3 riding mowers, a 4 wheeler, a motorcycle, a snowmobile, not to mention our vehicles or that once a year my sister & BIL bring their 3 wheelers up. Most of the time they get used when we've been gone for a while & a (mower) battery is starting to go bad, so instead of buying a new battery & having it sit around until next season, we'll jump it. Often they will hold a charge good enough so we can wait until spring to get a new 1. We use it putting the boats away too, as we can take all those heavy SOB's out while we are still up at the garage & use the power pack to raise & lower the motor when we are putting them away for the season. We have had a time or 2 when we've had to use it when we are on the road too. Sure beats being stranded
