Yup had a great week off and it did seem different than other time off.  It did seem like Retirement training.  The earliest I can go is Oct 1 of 2018.  Of course the longer I work the more the SS goes up but my PERA doesn't go up much after next year.  I am thinking that is the target date.  Most people tell me to go as soon as I can.  I can always get a job driving tractors or trucks for farmers in the spring and fall for more spending money so should be fine there....  The wife is alright with whatever I do so that is nice.  One of my friends is talking about going in 2 years.  He said his wife will be mad as hell if he doesn't get up and go to work every morning.  lolol  She thinks he is working for 5 more years.  I think it is hilarious...   Glad it is not an issue here....

Maybe ya can retire, still get up every morning, and leave the house just like usual. Come down here, and I'll teach ya all about turf care. We'll go into bizness as Barry and Marks lawn care....we'll shorten that name and make a slogan: "BM lawn care; we don't poop around"... :rotflmao: We can swing over to Del's and lay out a plan to eradicate his creeping charlie (everything is creeping charlie to Del; I think he just likes using that word) Then we could take a break and watch the NL mow in her bikini......   Uh, maybe best you just get a PT job at Menard's....
