-paOk boyzy boyz! Round 1 of ice apalooza is gonna start of at leech lake why 2 reasons, closer for southern boys, an pout.  I'm looking at 3rd or 4th weekend in Jan. Chime in on thoughts.  round 2 is gonna be on red end of feburary and dubed crappie-palooza. and ya know ol cookie mcGookie knows wer da cappies flow, but ya wont know till ya go!!

I have to Check schedule.  It's been a very long week.  Ups asked for and got an exemption from the DOT which h now allows us to work 70 hours.  Ugh,  week from hell.  And now I get to work tomorrow as well.

I have a trip planned for 3rd weekend on bowstring for crappies. We usually have our limit in the first hour of light. We could easily head on over to leech.

been on the lake enough. I'm by far from no expert on the lake. Our cabin is only about 10 miles north of bowstring. The north end.

Im hoping to get over if the weather is ok. ... ok if its like whats predicted tommorrow prob not.. ..In Jan fish for walleyes and I usually get Pout !   Have even caught em fishing for perch in Jan.  But they usually spawn around first week of March which is the best bite for pout..

Bowstring is almost in our backyard, but we don't fish it much. Do OK right in our bay & usually a lot less traffic.
