So we are in bed "reading" last night and we hear this thump.  We thought maybe it was one of the dogs bumping the wall or something.  Different than the noises they usually make when sleeping.  Well I hear this morning it was this meteor that was falling and blew up.  My neighbor said it lit the whole sky up a bright green color and also made some more smaller noises too.  Darn I wish I would have actually seen it.  I am not sure how far away it was but there is a cool video that he showed me.

Maybe it was rocket man over in North Korea sending artillery this way.

I wish we would have seen it also. We heard the boom and just thought it was the ice on the lake booming since that does happen a few time throughout the winter. Shakes the whole house when it pops.
Hey look your bobber is up!

Thanks Rebs.  I read that it was in SE Manitoba.  Which is of course north of Warroad somewhere..
