I just looked at that article.  I didn't see anything to controversial.  It was probably optimistic.

My biggest beef was with Kai Frobath.  Yes, he hit a 53 yarder in the playoffs, but he missed too many kicks and extra points.  There were blocks too, that you can't always blame on the kicker, but he does control the trajectory.  I could live with Kai next year.  He seems more apt to miss a routine kick than one in the clutch, but I hope the Vikes are keeping their eyes open.
