Seeing them take off of a dock, landing in a tree or just hanging out in their rookery it's amazing to see the volume they exude. It's like watching someone run over a tube of white Colgate toothpaste with a car!

Ooooo...mikey's gonna get out the Tide pods purty quick if you keep that up!  :rotflmao:

With all the crow and goose poop over there, surprised the MPCA hasn't stepped in and fined the city for phosphorus pollution!  :police:

My crazy ol neighbor guy when I lived in Stillwater was just standing in his yard one day frozen still with a shovel in his hands.  He was a crazy one too.  He stood there for a long time too.  Finally he moved and I asked him what he was doing.  He said he was waiting for a gopher to pop his head up.  He actually was good at it.  He would wait till the gopher stuck his head up and he would wack them with the shovel.  Now that takes patience.  He is the one I mentioned here long ago that ate a ground hog.  He and his sister when they were kids saw the groundhog eat the eggs out of a birds nest and it pissed them off.  He waited till the ground hog stuck his head out from under the barn and, yup, he wacked it with a shovel.  Then they ate it.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  Have you ever done that Glenn?   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

 he said " pocket" gopher. Looks to me like a striped gopher. That may work in striped gopher but doubt a pocket gopher. They don't leave homes with openings. I also question the amount of water it take for a pocket gopher.

The post below about eatin Marmot, I tried one once right after moving back to Mn in about 1986?87. My dog killed it while I tried to stop her, couldnt so we roasted an ate it. Just meat.At times I wished the US would open a market for horse meat thats tasty!!
