Hey all, I need help identifying this bush. I have two of them at the beginning of my driveway. They are kind of ratty, and I’m tyring to decide whether to pull them out or try and groom them to look better.
I think they may be ornamental because of the way they are positioned on each side of the driveway. Although not now, but they have small yellow flowers.
I just noticed in one of the photo’s there appears to be beans growing on it?

Thanks Reb, I think you nailed it. I’ve googled bushes with yellow flowers, but never came up with it. What’s funny is I’ve been here 7 years and today is the first time I’ve notices the bean pods? It says in the link you posted that they are considered an invasive species in Mn and Wisconsin. But not as bad a buckthorn.
